A Movement for Change: 1.93 Lakh Join Habuild’s Yoga for Children’s Education

In this blog

On March 8, 2025, Habuild celebrated Women’s Day in a way that no one could have imagined. More than 1.93 lakh people from across India came together just for a cause rooted in compassion and unity.

Habuild marked Women’s Day with a yoga session that was far more than just movement.

It began as a gathering that transformed into something meaningful. With every breath, stretch, and posture, this movement echoed far beyond yoga mats and screens, and it reached underprivileged children who dream of classrooms and books because “when movement meets meaning, even the smallest action becomes a revolution.”

Empowering Women, Inspiring Change:

We often see women carrying all the responsibilities silently on their shoulders. Today, there is no profession where women are not excelling. But still somehow their stories remain unwritten, their sacrifices are unseen, they take care of everyone, but when it comes to themselves, they don’t put in much effort. That selflessness is something they have built in.

This Women’s Day, Habuild chose to pause, see, and honor these women.

Through the simple act of moving together, we created something with them for a deeper purpose.

Habuild made a heartfelt promise:

For every person who joined the Women’s Day yoga session, it would donate 10 times that number in rupees to support education for underprivileged children.

That’s how a quiet moment on the mat transformed into a movement filled with hope.

The result? ₹19.3 lakh donated. Thousands of children now have a new chance at education, growth, and a better tomorrow.

Even though the movement was about women showing up for their own well-being, they did it with a pure intention because the purpose wasn’t just personal. It was about helping others rise too. That’s why we say women don’t just live for themselves, they live to create a better future. And the numbers are the proof they can make anything possible.

More Than a Session: It was a Family Moment

What made the event even more touching was the presence of Habuild’s founder, Saurabh, who led the session live on YouTube, and not alone, but with his mother by his side.

The idea of starting a platform that would be accessible to all mothers came to Saurabh during the lockdown, when he observed his own mother closely. He noticed that many mothers, including his own, considered household chores as a form of exercise – and yet, they were the ones most affected by health issues.

This realisation became the inspiration behind Habuild.

What makes it even more special is that Saurabh’s mother attends the sessions every day. She actively shares feedback with Saurabh to help make the sessions more valuable for women like her.

So, her presence during the Mother’s Day session wasn’t just symbolic – it was a reminder for every woman watching that if she can choose herself, so can you.

It wasn’t just a session, it was an emotion. He started Habuild with the simple yet powerful intention to help women become healthier and stronger and to give back just a little for all the selfless love they’ve given us. And as we say, “we are who we are because of the silent strength of the women in our lives.”

Stories That Remind Us to Keep Going:

Take Kavita, a domestic worker in Pune.

She always had a dream to send her daughter to an English medium school. To provide her with facilities and opportunities she never had so that her daughter does not have to struggle like her. Her neighbour told her about the Habuild yoga challenge. She joined in, not just for her health, but with the hope that maybe her small action could help another child somewhere. And finally, when she got to know that our initiative funded education, she said, “It felt like I was helping my own daughter too.”

Another one is Raj, a college student in Delhi.

He joined the session to honor his late grandmother, who raised him. He said, “If she had had the chance to study, her life would have been so different. I joined this to give that chance to someone else’s grandmother, sister, or daughter.”

These aren’t stories of any celebrities. These are people like us who felt some force in them when given the opportunity to act, and no wonder, they did really well.

Empowering Lives Through Education:

In some rural parts of India, people lack very basic facilities like education and health. Even if a lot of people coming from rural areas want to change their set of living. It becomes a dream for them to even think about it. But education is more than books, it is self worth, confidence, opportunity, and dignity.

Money making is not the only motive behind education, but to afford a lifestyle where you can enlighten your coming generations as well with basic education without any struggle is the ultimate goal.

By pledging the proceeds of this campaign to children’s education, Habuild didn’t just support tuition fees, it supported dreams. It helped build classrooms of possibility.

That’s how,

A single day. A single session. Changed lives for a lifetime……

Started on One Single Mat, it Grew Into a Mission:

Habuild has always believed that small, consistent actions lead to big changes. With its community of over 96 lakh people and 4.5 lakh daily yoga participants, it knows the power of habit.

But this initiative was something much more than that: it showed us that when “habits are rooted in purpose, they don’t just change your life, they can change many lives.”

With this event we all learned that movements born from kindness travel far. The yoga mats may have rolled up, but the impact will continue in classrooms, in homes, and in futures that now look brighter.

We are proud of each and every person for making this happen and joining us.

A Reminder to All of Us:

We all know that feeling of doubt when we think about contributing to change, we often feel overwhelmed. “What difference can I make?”

And this time Habuild’s campaign has answered that for you:

You don’t have to do something big. You just have to be present to make a difference. Nothing extraordinary, but an ordinary action with ordinary people makes it special and powerful.

Every participant in this yoga session contributed not just time or effort, but an intention that made all the difference, and when intention gets multiplied, it becomes transformation.

With Gratitude in Our Hearts:

We just want to thank you all for making this happen.

As we look back on this initiative, it leaves us with more than numbers. It leaves us with a message:

When we come together, we can turn small actions into lasting change.

Habuild’s Women’s Day yoga wasn’t a campaign. It was a celebration. Of women. Of unity. Of action with meaning. And of the quiet, strong belief that we can shape a better world with one small, mindful movement at a time.

And if you are also looking forward to making a change and to making yourself healthier, join us for our Free Yoga program because “when we walk together, every step becomes unstoppable.”
