Ingredients (Serves 4)
- Beetroot- peeled & chopped- 1 medium
- Lentils (mix of yellow moong dal + red masoor dal)- ½ cup
- Chopped onion- 1 small
- Garlic- 2-3 cloves
- Jeera- ½ tsp
- Pepper- ½ tsp
- Turmeric- ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water- 2 cups
- Lemon juice (to taste)
- Coriander leaves- for garnish
Method
1. Set aside the ingredients
Beetroot, washed Lentils, Onion, Garlic, Jeera, Pepper, Turmeric, Salt.

2. Pressure Cook
Add all the ingredients to the pressure cooker, add 2 cups of water, and cook for 2-3 whistles.
Let the pressure release naturally.

3. Blend & Serve
- Blend the cooked mixture using a hand blender or mixer until smooth. Add a little hot water to adjust consistency if required.
- Garnish with fresh coriander & Lemon juice. Serve hot.
