Dr Akhil S. Shetty is a dental surgeon with 18 years of clinical experience. He completed his BDS from A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences and MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from AJ Institute of Dental Sciences. He also holds a Fellowship in Forensic Odontology (IBFO) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Anthropology & Odontology from Yenepoya University.

Dr Shetty currently heads his private practice in Yekkur, Mangaluru. His key areas of expertise include smile designing, oral cancer screening, and forensic odontology for medico-legal cases. Alongside clinical practice, he actively trains medical, dental, and allied health sciences students, focusing on the connection between oral health and overall well-being.
